This is why my weight hit a plateau for so long. I was overestimating the calories I was burning (368 calories in 30 min), so I was consuming more. I’ve read that most elliptical machines overestimate, but I didn’t want to believe mine was one of them. When I started precisely tracking the exercise in the Lose It! app, instead of entering what the elliptical machine read, I started dropping pounds again. #fitness #health
What a treat! I won this in a drawing at a luncheon at work today: a Fitbit Flex, jump rope, water bottle, Vitamin Water, and two magazines (“Women’s Health” and “Self”)! I was so excited!! Taking just 20 minutes out of my day (morning, preferably) to walk a mile helps my mood tremendously! I feel just a little more balanced and able to face the day.
